Nachos under 500 calories....WHAT 😱😱
This dish is definitely a house hold favourite! They are super easy and delicious, this dish took under 20 minutes to make.
🛒You Will Need: ⠀ This recipe serving size is for 2 adults. ⠀ - 1 whole meal wrap (made with olive oil preferably, check the ingredients on the back) - 1 can of chopped tomatoes - 2 cloves of garlic - 1 red onion - 1 grated carrot - 4 diced mushrooms
- 1 can of mixed beans if you are vegetarian or plant based OR if you want meat 350g (roughly 150 g per person) of chicken mince per person and half a can throughout the whole dish of mixed beans. - 2 teaspoons of mixed herbs - 1 teaspoon of cumin - sea salt and cracked pepper to taste - 1/4 of an avo - 1 tablespoon of Edam cheese ⠀ The Recipe: ⠀ 1. Cut the wrap into triangles season with herbs and salt and place in the oven for approx. 10 minutes or until they have crisped on 180 degrees. ⠀ 2. In a pan using 1 tablespoon of olive oil place sliced onion, diced garlic, grated carrot, mushrooms, herbs and cumin. ⠀ 3. Pan fry until onions start to slightly soften, then add your beans and canned tomatoes. Let the mixtures simmer for 5-10 minutes. Add more herbs if you want for extra deliciousness. ⠀ 4. Alternatively if you are using mince (chicken/turkey/lean beef) then add the mince in with the vegetables and cook until browned/whitened then add your beans. ⠀ 5. Using half a wrap per person for the “nacho chips” place them on a plate , top with your “nacho mince” mixture , 1 tablespoon of cheese and 1/4 of an avo mashed !! ⠀⠀ Enjoy !
